If you're on a mission to find nothing but dynamic tonal potential, then you're unlikely to find another overdrive pedal that offers more variation than the Logan from KMA Audio Machines. Clean, barely any drive to a mid-drive, to an all-out maximum overdrive: it can do it all. Using the pleasing control layout, you can sculpt that sound that's in your head and just at the right moment, hit the Mids footswitch to add a boost for solos. An expression pedal (not included) can also be hooked up to manipulate the midrange frequencies and shape a wah or phaser style effect, and since a more flexible overdrive pedal would be hard to find, you also get the sheer awesomeness of the Logan's high-headroom design that can reach up to 25 fat dBs.
